AI, Economics, Management & Finance Workshop. Join us for a day-long event focused on the applications of artificial intelligence in economics, management, and finance, organized jointly by ENS Paris-Saclay and the University of Évry Paris-Saclay.

Researchers and experts will present practical applications of AI through lectures, demonstrations, and case studies. The presentations will cover topics such as language models (LLMs), deep learning, web scraping, high-frequency financial data, lie detection, model bias, and the use of AI in project management.

 

Program:

  • 9:30 a.m. – 10:00 a.m. Welcome reception with breakfast.
  • 10:00 a.m. – 10:15 a.m. Institutional opening remarks – Samuel Ligonnière & Graduate School of Economics & Management.
  • 10:15 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. Alexandre Courbin – Large-scale, automated web scraping.
  • 11:00 a.m. – 11:45 a.m. Caroline Perrin – LLM, text analysis, and lie detection.
  • 11:45 a.m. – 1:15 p.m. Lunch break
  • 1:15 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. Édouard Duchesnay – Deep learning, real-time financial data, and prediction.
  • 2:00 PM – 2:45 PM Olivier Bos – AI, information, and governance
  • 2:45 PM – 3:15 PM Coffee break
  • 3:15 PM – 4:00 PM Serge Pajak – (Geo)political biases in LLM language models.
  • 4:00 PM – 4:45 PM Arnaud Grob – LLMs in Project Management: Uses, Limitations, and Biases.

Students in the following programs are automatically registered and do not need to complete this Evento form: M1 Finance (Évry), M1 Finance (Sceaux), M2 Risk and Asset Management, M2 Banking and Finance, M2 Strategy, Financial Engineering, and Innovation, M2 Innovation, Markets, and Data Science, M2 Digital Innovation and Consulting, Bachelor’s Year 3 in Economics (ENS Paris-Saclay), and Master’s Year 1 in Economics (ENS Paris-Saclay). For all other participants, registration is free but required, subject to availability.
