The DataIA Institute at Viva Technology 2026
From June 17 to 20, 2026, visit the DataIA Institute at Vivatech 2026, at booth 3H19 of the University of Paris-Saclay, at Paris Expo Porte de Versailles
Following its debut in 2025, the DataIA Institute is returning with the aim of strengthening the bridges between academic research, technological innovation, and the socio-economic world, and to highlight the richness of its ecosystem in artificial intelligence and data science.
On this occasion, several startups that are members of DataIA’s “Partnerships in AI” (PAI) Club will be present to showcase their innovations and discuss concrete AI applications with visitors.
🤝 The PAI Club brings together the DataIA Institute’s academic and industrial partners around a shared ambition: to foster collaboration between research and innovation, support the development of AI projects, and strengthen ties between the scientific community and economic stakeholders.
- Wednesday, June 17 - SP3D
SP3D, a French high-tech company, develops AI-based solutions to support industrial digitalization and improve the efficiency of engineering processes.
- Thursday, June 18 - Scienta Lab
Scienta Lab is developing EVA, a multimodal model dedicated to immunology and inflammation, to improve clinical trial success rates through artificial intelligence.
- Saturday, June 20 - Learning Robots
Learning Robots offers an innovative educational approach to raising awareness and providing training in AI through educational robotics and progressive machine learning.
Viva Technology represents a unique opportunity to highlight collaborations between research, entrepreneurship, and innovation within the Paris-Saclay ecosystem. Throughout the event, teams from the DataIA Institute and its partners will be on hand to engage with visitors, present their projects, and share their vision for the applications of artificial intelligence.

Talk : Preparing for the unknown: rethinking the university in the age of artificial intelligence
-
Frédéric Pascal (Director of the DataIA Institute)
Artificial intelligence is redefining the skills required and accelerating the evolution of professions. Against this backdrop, universities are being called upon to adapt their models to prepare graduates who are capable of adapting, learning continuously and navigating a changing labour market. This masterclass will explore practical ways to develop educational programmes: the growing importance of soft skills, the creation of new pathways, and stronger links with businesses. It will also highlight the persistent gaps between young people’s aspirations and market needs, as well as the pressures on certain professions where talent remains hard to find. A discussion to understand how higher education can better align its programmes with the realities and uncertainties of the professional world.
