Artificial intelligence is profoundly transforming our practices, without being uniformly integrated into key sectors like education. This gap raises major issues of understanding and trust. This conference offers insight into the challenges and limitations of AI, as well as a reflection on its uses in science and the training of tomorrow’s scientists.

Training of trainers FormIA: Awareness conference on the challenges of AI

The uses of AI have invaded both public and private spheres, yet it is clear that in key sectors such as health, industry, and education, AI is not integrated in a systematic and standardized way. Although there are good reasons for this, a significant gap is nonetheless created between the staff and the users of these sectors regarding their relationship with AI.

To ensure trust in the functions carried out, particularly in higher education, it seems essential to provide teaching staff with an accessible reference framework of knowledge and uses of AI in their discipline.

This conference will be led by Nicolas Vayatis, Director of the Borelli Center, and will be followed by a discussion session over a buffet.
