Institut Pascal
The Pascal Institute is the node of Paris-Saclay dedicated to inter-disciplinary exchanges over a long time and on an international scale, like the Institut Henri Poincaré. Its activities are centered on the organization of thematic programs bringing together for a few weeks or a few months scientists at the crossroads of several disciplines (from physics to computer science, via maths, biology and chemistry), to explore emerging fields and / or launch international cooperation networks.
The Pascal Institute and the DATAIA Institute will benefit from cross-media exchanges, with the aim of attracting scientists and students from around the world to the interface of their respective fields. A first proposal at the intersection of the two Institutes is already underway on the field of causal modeling in high energy physics.
IRT SystemX
The Institute of Technological Research (IRT) SystemX was labeled on February 1, 2012 as part of the investment program for the future, set up to support innovation in France. Unique IRT in Île-de-France, it addresses the areas of digital engineering of the systems of the future, SystemX responds to today's technological challenges through a flexible, open and collective innovation.
The objective of the IRT SystemX is the integration of the technological bricks, developed within the partner academic laboratories, which constitute the support for a dissemination of the results to the industrial partners of the IRT while contributing to a national and international visibility of research activities.
The IRT is therefore an important link for the DATAIA Institute to promote the valorisation of its results in the industrial ecosystem. Researchers at the DATAIA Institute will naturally be able to promote their results in projects to promote IRT. Links can be created between the affiliated industrial club of the DATAIA Institute and the IRT to promote this transition from research to innovation.
Labex Mathématiques Jacques Hadamard
The LMH (Hadamard Mathematics Labex), backed by the FMJH, has been selected for the call for bids "laboratoire d'excellence" of the national state program "investissements d'avenir".
The partner teams of the LMH are : CMLS and CMAP, École Polytechnique; CMLA, ENS Cachan; LMO, and BJH, University of Paris Sud; LMV, UVSQ; LAG, IHES; IPhT, CEA at Saclay; UMA, ENSTA; LTCI, Télécom ParisTech; LaMME, UEVE / ENSIIE; MaIAGE, INRA; MIA Paris, AgroparisTech
The LabEx Mathematics Hadamard (LMH) project, is intended to develop five specific scientific projects :
- Mathematics for Life Sciences
- Mathematics for Engineering
- Mathematics and Physics
- Mathematics and ICST
- EDMH (The Hadamard PhD School of Mathematics)
Maison des Sciences de l’Homme
The MSH (House of Human Sciences) Paris-Saclay has two ambitions: promote interdisciplinarity and federate the SHS forces of Paris-Saclay University. It is present on the Saclay site with 1200 permanent (C, EC and ITA) and 800 doctoral students in about 37 SHS units. The MSH, based on the cartography it has developed, will bring together SHS researchers working on the research axes of the DATAIA Institute.
The MSH shares several teachers-researchers with the DATAIA Institute, who have already collaborated together in the framework of the Institute of the Digital Society (ISN), which contributed to the emergence of the DATAIA Institute. In addition, the DATAIA Institute carries out a multidisciplinary research on data and algorithms, in perfect articulation with the first axis of the MSH (digital and humanities), which brings together 400 SHS researchers and PhD students working on massive data, algorithms and decision ; with the second axis of the MSH (environment and health) which gathers more than 300 researchers and doctoral students SHS; with the third axis of the MSH (transition and innovation), which brings together digital and ecological transitions, data issues being present on all three axes.
Pôle de compétitivité Cap Digital
The DATAIA Institute relies on partnerships with Cap Digital to promote research from the institute to companies in the cluster's ecosystem, to connect the companies belonging to the cluster to the projects and researchers of the institute, to co-build specific calls for projects (use case, data set etc ..) with the region, territories, large groups, and start ups, to set up training programs for SMEs on technologies and issues around data, to organize workshops and identify relevant data themes for the cluster's partners, especially key accounts.
Pôle de compétitivité Systematic
Most partners of the DATAIA Institute are members of the Systematic competitiveness cluster and are very involved in its governance. This creates a proximity with all members of the cluster that will connect them with the DATAIA Institute. Cluster members have already expressed interest in participating in the Institute's industrial partner community. They will be able to bring their vision of the strategic orientations of the Institute as well as proposals for "use-cases".
The members of the cluster will also be the first beneficiaries of the training programs to be initiated by the DATAIA Institute. Finally, it will be able to benefit from the "Ambition PME" action of the cluster to enhance its research results.
