3 « Synergy » Chairs

These research chairs were launched in March 2025. They involve three strategic projects led by institutions within the DataIA ecosystem. What does this involve in concrete terms? It represents eight researchers receiving €300,000 each in funding to conduct scientific research on the following topics:
- “Pre-trained models for data frugality”: this chair is led by three scientific leaders:
- Florent Bouchard, Research Fellow at CNRS and CentraleSupélec (L2S laboratory);
- Edouard Duchesnay, Director of Research at CEA (NeuroSPIN);
- Nora Ouzir, Senior Lecturer at CentraleSupélec and Inria OPIS team.
- “GenAI, Foundation Models: From Theory to Applications” led by:
- Olivier Ferret, Director of Research at CEA-List;
- Julien Randon-Furling, Professor at ENS Paris-Saclay (Borelli Center);
- Maria Vakalopoulou, Senior Lecturer at CentraleSupélec (MICS laboratory).
- “AI for large-scale teaching and learning” led by:
- Michel Beaudouin-Lafont, University Professor, Paris-Saclay University, member of the French Academy of Sciences;
- Nicolas Thiéry, University Professor, Paris-Saclay University (LISN laboratory).
