  • The project leader must belong to a laboratory at a partner institution of the DataIA Institute, listed in Appendix 2;
  • The proposal must fall within the scope of DataIA's scientific areas of focus, described in Appendix 1;
  • Projects involving several laboratories or research teams belonging to different DataIA institutions will be highly appreciated.

1 - Mandatory information

Project title; Names of supervisors and their contact details; Names of host laboratories and/or research teams.

 

2 - Project description (2 pages)

The partners describe the objective of the internship, its link with DataIA, and list any previous collaborations between the partners (if applicable). It is not essential to have a candidate in order to submit the project.

 

3 - Financial appendix

Amount of funding requested and duration of the internship; Proposed start and end dates of the internship; Name of the institution receiving and managing the funds; Names and contact details of the administrative and financial contacts responsible for monitoring the project.

If the project is accepted, DataIA will fund the student for 4 to 6 months at the usual stipend level (approximately €700/month). For information:

  • The student must be present for more than 308 hours during the same academic year to be eligible for remuneration;
  • Public bodies may not pay internship remuneration in excess of the legal minimum (otherwise the internship agreement will be reclassified as an employment contract);
  • The legal minimum amount in 2025 for an internship stipend is €4.35 net/hour with no additional charges;
  • The hourly limit for 2026 will only be known once the decree is published in the Official Journal (JO) in November or December 2025.
     

Commitments

  • The internship report must be sent to DataIA at the end of the internship;
  • A brief presentation may be requested during DataIA's annual scientific days;
  • All communications (publications, presentations) must mention DataIA funding as follows:
