This conference takes place within the framework of the project "FEF – AI : Artificial Intelligence for Sustainable Development (2024 - 2026)", which is a bilateral program supporting collaboration in higher education, research, and innovation between institutions in Ghana and France. It is coordinated by the French Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs, implemented through the French Embassy in Ghana, to fund joint academic, scientific, and institutional projects. Partners are : Université Paris-Saclay, Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST - RAIL) and the Ghana Atomic Energy Commission (GAEC). And the DataIA Institue of Paris-Saclay is supporting this initiative.

The DataIA Seminar welcomes physicist Jesse Thaler (MIT) for a talk on “Centaur Science: Adventures in AI + Physics.” This seminar explores how human–AI collaboration is transforming fundamental physics, from integrating physical principles into machine learning models to using AI-driven approaches to expand discovery potential in experimental and theoretical research.

This seminar aims to increase the links between the different laboratories in Saclay in the field of Applied Maths, Statistics and Machine Learning. The Seminar is organized every first Tuesday of the month with 2 presentations followed by a small refreshment. The localization of the seminar will change to accommodate the different labs.

L’atelier thématique SHS Inria du 6 février 2026 réunit des chercheurs et chercheuses en sciences humaines et sociales, mathématiques et informatique autour des enjeux du numérique et de l’intelligence artificielle. Les échanges porteront sur les dark patterns, les interactions humains technologies et les questions de sécurité, d’explicabilité et d’auditabilité des systèmes d’IA.
