This conference takes placd within the framework of the project "FEF – AI : Artificial Intelligence for Sustainable Development (2024 - 2026)", wich is a bilateral program which supports collaboration in higher education, research, and innovation between institutions in Ghana and France. It is coordinated by the French Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs, implemented through the French Embassy in Ghana, to fund joint academic, scientific, and institutional projects. Partners are : Université Paris-Saclay, Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST - RAIL) and the Ghana Atomic Energy Commission (GAEC). And the DataIA Institue of Paris-Saclay is supporting this initiative.

A one day workshop for early career scientists: open submissions until 3rd May !

On June, the 29th, a one-day workshop will be dedicated for early career scientists and innovators. The objective of this workshop is to provide participants with foundational and practical insights into key areas of Artificial Intelligence. The workshop will include presentations on topics such as:

  • Fundamentals of AI

  • Computer Vision

  • Natural Language Processing

  • Deep Learning

  • Generative AI and Large Language Models

This workshop aims to equip early-career scientists with the knowledge of modern AI tools, frameworks, and research methodologies necessary to excel in AI-driven research, foster interdisciplinary collaboration, and develop scientific leadership in emerging technologies.

Please, express your interest in attending the workshop by registering before 3rd May 2026 !

 

Distinguished speakers for the conference: come on stage from 29th June to 2nd July !

In addition to open submissions, we are also in the process of identifying distinguished invited speakers. In this regard, we would be delighted to invite experts who may be available to deliver approximately 30 to 45-minute lectures on any of the topics listed above, or on closely related subjects, during this workshop.
