Many enterprises have invested huge means in data collection and processing, yet they do cannot get the most from these data to optimize their decisions and increase their value.

Scientific disciplines such as life science, chemistry, physics and astrophysics are facing challenges of various natures.

The three main directions related to energy in DATAIA Institute regard: uncertainties related to energy production and demand; optimal decision and management under uncertainties; and consumer relationship management.

Contemporary digital technologies change the way individuals and societies produce, disseminate, collect and encode data. 

Health data are already an essential part of Health 2.0 that comprises the accumulation of information for epidemiology, the Internet of things and personalized medicine. 

One issue is that of cooperative intelligent transport systems, built upon traffic modeling, distributed and interactive traffic management and optimal decision.
