The Junior Conference on Data Science and Engineering (JDSE) 2024 takes place on September 26 and 27 for its 9th edition!

Organized by Mila - Institut québécois d'AI, Laboratoire international sur les systèmes d'apprentissage (ILLS), Centre national de la recherche scientifique (CNRS), Groupement de Recherche TAL - GDR TAL - CNRS Sciences Informatique, FRQNT and IVADO. This initiative is part of a France-Quebec institutional partnership, funded jointly by the two regions. This three-day event aims to explore the transformative potential of language technologies and their implications for society.

Back to school time! As part of DATAIA Institute' scientific activities, we are delighted to welcome Juliana Freire, Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at New York University, on Monday October 7th.

Launched in December 2023, as part of the University of Paris-Saclay's scientific strategy to develop collaborations between Graduate Schools (GS) and Interdisciplinary Objects (IO) to address priority research issues by 2030, the series of joint seminars between the GS Informatique, Sciences du Numérique (GS ISN) and Public Health (GS SP) and the IO Hub PasRel continues with the aim of bringing collaborative projects to the fore in the fields of AI and digital health.
