An international scientific conference will take place on February 6 and 7 at the École Polytechnique and will focus on the impact of the development of artificial intelligence on science and society. This event will take place ahead of the Summit for Action on AI organized on February 10 and 11 at the initiative of the French authorities at the Grand Palais in Paris.

Jean-Michel Loubes (Inria) will host a Seminar@SystemX on “Bias in AI: detecting disloyalty in an algorithm using local measurements”, on January 23, 2025 from 2 pm to 3 pm.

The workshop will feature presentations by leading experts who will share cutting-edge developments and insights in the field. This is a unique opportunity to exchange ideas, explore applications, and foster collaborations around multiblock methods and related concepts.

Artificial intelligence (AI) is currently a rapidly expanding field. It applies to all fields: transport, health, logistics, security, finance and commerce. There are a plethora of examples where the use of AI algorithms is a particularly powerful tool. These include the development of autonomous vehicles, robots and decision-making software. So it's only natural that the CEA and its partners should be interested in these techniques. IntheArt is a project called DRF-impulsion, which aims to bring together different institutes within DRF and CEA around Machine Learning and more generally around artificial intelligence.
