On April 22 and 23, 2025, more than 50 university presidents from five continents gathered at Ottawa University for the annual U7+ Alliance Summit. This international meeting resulted in the publication of a joint declaration reaffirming the universities' willingness to work closely with governments in the G7 and elsewhere to ensure the ethical, equitable and sustainable development of artificial intelligence.
